Livestock import notification
Every imported bovine animal intended for meat production (about 800.000 per annum) has to be notified at the ministry of agriculture by the importer within three days. This requires electronic delivery of the imported animal’s ‘passport’ data into the ministry’s system. Quick notification speeds up the tracing of animals that may be infected with a contagious disease.

GD, Intradis and FormFeed have developed a service offering that enables quick notification based on a copy or a fax of the animal’s passport as provided by the transporter or the importer. Whenever possible the animal’s data will be electronically obtained from the livestock register of the country of origin, otherwise the data will be extracted from the passport itself. The concept also involves a service that enables tracking and tracing of individual animals during transport. Benefit for the importer is a significant reduction of errors in documentation, a cost reduction and guaranteed compliance with agricultural regulations.

FormFeed

FormFeed is a Business Process Outsourcing enterprise that helps its customers operate more efficiently by handling their information intensive processes. Internet technology enables offshore execution of labor intensive process parts, while quality control can be done in the country of origin.

Proposition

FormFeed is primarily focused on processes that involve the transformation of paper documents into digitally structured data. This requires several different capabilities, ranging from Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to manual data entry.

Your benefit

FormFeed provides ‘clean’ input data to its customers’ business processes, allowing true Straight Through Processing (STP). Even when input data is already partly electronically processed, FormFeed could handle the remaining document streams, enabling uniform delivery of input data.
